For 24 years now, Axess AG´s turnover, number of employees and floor space have been growing steadily. While in 2012 the company had 156 employees, now 400 people worldwide are working to provide digital access solutions with integrated software products in five different business areas. Automated access control in trains & ski areas in Catalonia
The Catalan railroad company "Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya" presented improvements recently implemented by Axess. One highlight at the FGC managed ski resort Vall de Núria: automated access control to railway trains through the implementation of an online ticketing system. After a landslide in October 2010 repairs to the line of the Petit Train de La Mure, south of Grenoble, have been completed after more than ten years of work. The reopening of the tourist line connecting Saint-Georges-de-Commiers with La Mure, in the south of the Isère department, will take place in June. A spectacular year 2019/20 for Axess: absolute peak reached with over 50 million sales and 18.9 % growth
With 62 new customer projects, the past fiscal year was the most successful in the company's history. Sensational growth was achieved in the USA, Japan and Russia, but Europe's DACH region also grew significantly. Even Covid-19 cannot detract from this success, several major projects have already been completed for the new financial year in times of a pandemic.

Axess supports Covid-19 research
Axess AG, together with conova and other Salzburg-based companies, supports the Covid-19 research. To this purpose, the unused computing power of the computers will be donated to the scientific project Folding@home in St. Louis in order to simulate the folding of proteins.
Kazakhstan's largest ski resort relies on Axess on site.
The ski resort in Shymbulak is the largest in Kazakhstan and, with a capacity of over 9000 visitors, also the most visited in the entire country. The prestigious project is located just 30km south of Almaty and operates all year round. Due to the great demand and the start of this large project, Axess AG decided to establish a subsidiary in Kazakhstan. In total, 26 AX500 Smart Gates NG with Turnstile Module, 11 Axess PARKING and 10 Axess SMART POS were installed in Shymbulak, among others.

Jennerbahn opening
The latest developments of Axess RESORT SOLUTIONS were installed at the recently opened Jennerbahn. One of the most important ropeway-projects in Germany celebrated its opening on July 5th.
Ekaterinburg-Expo
Axess installed a complete full-service fair solution for the Etkaterinburg-Expo and the new congress center. The exhibition complex in the Urals is one of the largest exhibition centers in Russia. In August 2019 the new build congress center will be officially opened for everyone.
