This innovation, powered by state-of-the-art technology from Axess, offers skiers an enhanced and more convenient experience on the slopes.
The "SmartPass" in Action
Dolomiti Superski is piloting the "SmartPass system" in San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle. Skiers can now purchase their ski passes online and link them to their smartphones via the Axess SKI WALLET app. Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, the gates automatically recognize the ski pass stored on the skier’s device. There’s no need to pull out a physical pass or remove gloves — access is completely contactless and effortless.
The Benefits of Smartphone Ski Pass Technology
The AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE enables a seamless skiing experience by storing the ski pass digitally on a skier's smartphone. This technology allows passes to be purchased online and saved directly to the device, enabling effortless, contactless access by simply carrying the smartphone on the left side of the body. It also minimizes physical contact and waiting times, creating a safer and more convenient experience for all.
A Pilot Project with Great Potential
