Seamless access for 483,934 fans at the F1 Australian Grand Prix 2026

From March 5–8, the Australian Grand Prix returned to Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, launching the F1 World Championship season. For the third consecutive year, Axess Solutions ensured smooth, safe and fast entry at this premier motorsport event, this time for record-breaking crowds.

The Albert Park Circuit is a motorsport street circuit around Albert Park Lake in Melbourne, Australia. It is used annually as a circuit for the Formula One Australian Grand Prix, the supporting Supercars Championship Melbourne SuperSprint and other associated support races.

Handling an all-time record crowd of 483,934 fans over four days, multiple Axess gates were strategically placed around the venue in different fan access areas to reduce bottlenecks and manage crowds. 18 AX500 Smart Gate NG and 10 AX500 Smart Gate NG - Mobile Pallet and WIFI units equipped with turnstiles and the Axess SMART SCANNER 600 NFC ensured fast, contactless mobile-ticket validation, keeping spectators moving efficiently into the venue.
