Top athletes meet red-white-red top technology
Axess is the official partner and sponsor of the German and Austrian Olympic House for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. On July 26, the Olympic flame reaches the venue of the Olympic Games in Paris. The 33rd Olympic Games may begin. Axess, which specializes in sophisticated access and ticketing solutions, is making an important contribution in the background.
Axess' partner role at the Olympic Games
Axess is proud to be a partner for the German and Austrian Olympic House. The proximity between elite sport and Axess cutting-edge technology is obvious: both areas require the highest precision, innovation and commitment to excellence.
“Our drive is to create the best conditions for athletes, audiences and organizers. We look forward to making access to the German and Austrian Olympic House safer and more efficient, creating an environment where everyone can focus on what's important: the competition” emphasizes Axess CMO Claudia Wuppinger.
For the athletes, away from the hustle and bustle of sport, one thing is very important: a retreat that offers a piece of home away from home. This year's Austria House is the Pavillon Montsouris and is located in the south of the French capital. The Jean Bouin rugby stadium in the immediate vicinity of the Parc des Princes and the Stade Roland Garros will house the “Home of Team D”. Given the cultural and diplomatic dimension of the Olympic Games, they feature hospitality areas where guests from the worlds of sport, business, media, politics and entertainment are welcomed to celebrate achievements. In addition to VIP and press areas, there are also “pay areas” for visitors. A fan zone for joint public viewing has also been created in the Deutschlandhaus.
Axess' contribution to Austria House and Deutschlandhaus
Axess' own accreditation software and gates are used in all areas to ensure efficient and secure access and visitor management. Access is granted via Axess gates and handhelds, which are passed through using online and physical tickets as well as accreditation. The hardware installed is rental equipment that will be used for further events after the Olympics. The partnership demonstrates Axess' commitment to innovative access systems on a global stage and shows how Austrian technology can help to professionally organize the flow of visitors at major events.
Olympic spirit meets Austrian technology
Once again, the Olympic spirit is celebrated. And it states that the battle is more important than the victory. It also means that people from different backgrounds and cultures can meet and interact peacefully. “Our technologies are designed to bring people together and ensure smooth, safe access, regardless of their origin or background. We believe in the values of the Olympic Movement and see our role as playing a part in realizing this vision through our systems by providing a positive and stress-free experience for participants and visitors,” emphasizes Axess CSO Oliver Suter.
