Nestled on the French-Swiss border in the village of Boncourt, Piscine & Wellness Les Hémionées offers year-round aquatic activities along with a dedicated relaxation area. Situated at the starting point of several biking and hiking trails, this facility provides a wellness retreat surrounded by nature. This year, they upgraded their sales and access system with the help of Axess, already well-known in the region.

Relaxation in the heart of nature

Les Hémionées is designed for water activities, relaxation, and overall well-being. Open year-round, the center offers fun activities for families, friends, groups, children, and adults. Highlights include events like the Summer Games, themed days like “Tropical Atmosphere,” when both the pools and air are heated to 30°C, and “Cinépool” day, where visitors can float on a buoy and watch a movie in warm, bath-like water. You can also sign up for swimming lessons, book a massage, or unwind in the wellness area. During the summer, the site features a large outdoor space where you can relax under the shade of the trees.

A global solution for sales and access management

In early 2024, Les Hémionées partnered with Axess to modernize their sales and access systems, aiming to provide a better customer experience and stay ahead of future needs. The Austrian company is already well-established at various Swiss locations, particularly in aquatic centers and ski resorts. Axess worked closely with the Boncourt facility, guiding them through every step of the project, building a strong relationship based on trust.

The upgraded system offers three main ways to purchase tickets: in-person at the cashier through a Smart POS, automatic sales through the Axess TICKET KIOSK 600 installed at the entrance, or online via the Axess WEBSTORE, which is integrated into the center’s website. Now, most visitors either buy their tickets online or at the kiosk, minimizing wait times. Whether you’re purchasing a pool ticket, booking a baby swim class, or reserving a spot in the wellness area, all you have to do is choose your ticket and pay with a credit card in just a few minutes.

As for the access control system, Les Hémionées has opted for pallet-mounted AX500 Smart Gate NG readers to avoid any modifications to the facility's appearance. Entry to the wellness area is controlled by an Axess SMART DOOR 600, which opens automatically when a valid ticket is scanned.
