Axess SMART GUARD captivated visitors with its smart, streamlined approach to a long-standing issue in the ski industry: ticket misuse. Particularly in certain regions, the unauthorized transfer of ski passes remains a costly and persistent challenge. Until now, ski resorts have relied on systems that capture entry-point photos of skiers, leaving operators to manually compare images to spot inconsistencies — a time-consuming process.

Our new AI-based software takes over the task of detecting potential fraud by automatically comparing images of skiers at access points, matching them to the ticket ID every time skiers walk through the gate. It then calculates a similarity score, flagging any suspicious activity where the appearance of the user changes significantly. A prioritized list of potential fraud cases is provided to the operator, who can quickly assess and, if necessary, deactivate the pass with just a few clicks.

Axess SMART GUARD performs its analysis without storing any biometric data. Instead, it evaluates visual patterns such as color, shape, and texture, enabling efficient fraud detection while respecting privacy and regulatory requirements.
