After four dynamic and engaging days, INTERALPIN 2025 is officially over —and what a week it was! From May 6 to 9, Innsbruck became the global epicenter for alpine technologies, receiving over 36,800 trade visitors. Our booth was a vibrant hub of innovation, dialogue, and discovery, where visitors from all over the world gathered to experience firsthand our latest advances in hardware and software solutions for ski resort management.
A grand reveal: the new Axess ALPHA GATE
One of the highlights of the event was the exclusive debut of the Axess ALPHA GATE, which immediately captured the interest of attendees.
The new Axess ALPHA GATE features a brand-new opening technology for bi-directional usage, ensuring a better guest experience. It also includes an extended antenna reach for enhanced performance and supports UHF, HF, and BLE media. The gate is equipped with double light signals for validation result and gate status, as well as an eye-catching mega screen for dynamic ad placement and promotions. Resort-specific branding ensures visual alignment with the unique design of each resort, all wrapped in an elegant, discreet design.
Experiencing Axess from ticketing to the slopes
Visitors had the opportunity to explore and use a variety of Axess Solutions, experiencing the journey from ticketing to slope access firsthand.
Among the technologies that they tested at our booth was the AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE, our solution for the fastest digital ticket access with a smartphone. By loading their ticket (previously purchased at the WEBSTORE) into the user app (Axess SKI WALLET), guests simply put their phone in their jacket pocket. When they enter the reading area of the gate, the smartphone automatically connects, verifies the ticket, and opens the gate, offering a truly hands-free, fast entry experience.
The AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE combines the best of both worlds by incorporating BLE and HF technology, also supporting the use of common RFID tickets. INTERALPIN visitors experienced this versatility by obtaining ski passes directly at the Axess SMART POS or through the Axess TICKET FRAME 600, where tickets previously purchased can be quickly loaded and activated, or – if a new ticket is needed - a voucher with a QR code is printed and then scanned it at the Axess PICK UP BOX 600 to conveniently collect their valid ticket. Visitors then placed the card in their jacket pocket and walked through the AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE to experience fast, contactless access, just like they would on the slopes.
Visitors discovered the power of Axess SMART GUARD
At Interalpin, every time attendees walked through the AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE, images were captured and processed by Axess SMART GUARD, our solution for ski ticket fraud prevention. Visitors were impressed by how this AI-powered software compares photos of skiers entering the gate, linking them to the corresponding ticket. Guests had the opportunity to explore how the system detects potential fraud cases and even manually deactivate a suspicious ticket—experiencing firsthand how Axess SMART GUARD makes ski ticket fraud detection more efficient.
Furthermore, the system does not store any biometric data but analyzes optical features such as color, shape, and pattern, making it easier to comply with data protection regulations.
Over 300 attendees at the Axess APRÈS-SKI PARTY
To celebrate our strong presence at INTERALPIN, we hosted a lively Axess APRÈS-SKI PARTY at our booth, welcoming over 300 guests! It was the perfect opportunity to unwind, network, and continue conversations in a relaxed, festive atmosphere. The event created a memorable evening of connection and community among industry professionals. We were delighted to see our team, partners, customers, and visitors having a great time!
