Have you already planned your spring holidays? If not, you might want to visit Venice, the city of canals and bridges, palaces and churches – and now also featuring Axess smart flap gates.

In early summer 2014, Axess began with the implementation of its largest public transport project so far, on behalf of Azienda Consorzio Trasporti Veneziano, the public transport company of Venice. In one of the most visited tourist destinations in Europe, 55 Smart Flap Gates NG with Flap Paddle Arms were installed at the bridges and jetties of the public boat service. For this project, Axess need to install a reader from a third-party supplier. We are proud to announce that Axess will have installed 110 Smart Flap Gates in Venice, by the end of March 2015, making the jetties safer for tourists without hampering traffic flow.
