The smart ski resort – Axess presents Resort Solutions 4.0 at the 2017 INTERALPIN

The 21st INTERALPIN will take place at the congress messe innsbruck (cmi) from 26 to 28 April 2017. It is the leading international trade fair within the alpine technology branch, and top companies will be in attendance to present their latest innovations. The Salzburg-based company Axess, a specialist in access solutions, will also be on hand to showcase the newest addition to its digital product range. Visitors to the Axess stand will be able to undertake a special customer journey that will enable them to gain direct experience of Resort Solutions 4.0, the smart valley station of the future.

The INTERALPIN is the flagship trade fair for the alpine technology sector. Staged at the congress messe innsbruck every two years, it attracts companies and specialist visitors from over 80 countries and more than 650 exhibiting firms. One particularly exciting aspect of the event is that it provides a vehicle for leading innovators from within the branch to display the very latest trends and products from their own specialist areas.
The Austrian company Axess, which is based in Anif in the State of Salzburg, will be showcasing “Axess Resort Solutions 4.0”, the smart ski resort of the future. Axess is a forward-thinking and highly innovative specialist in access systems, and this latest offering very much emphasizes the increasing digitalization of our everyday lives. Buzz words such as “industry 4.0” and “big data” are on everyone’s lips as humans, machines, products and services fuse ever more closely together. In the immediate future, the “Internet of Things” will act as the key link within this process. This is a future which can be experienced at first hand with Axess (Hall A, Stand A26). New products such as Axess RESORT.RENTAL, Axess RESORT.LOCKER and the Axess PICK UP BOX 600 are just a few of the highlights of the customer journey awaiting potential clients at the Axess AG stand.
Modularity and flexibility are long-standing development virtues which are more relevant today than they have ever been:

“Anyone beginning to develop a technical product today will be overtaken by technological progress before the development phase has even been concluded,” explains Oliver Suter, CSO and Management Board member at Axess AG. “Only those who think ahead and embrace flexibility will be able to continue to offer their B2B customers products that deliver sustainable competitiveness.”
