After two years of construction, the new Jennerbahn is now at the cutting edge of technology. The access management system was also converted to systems from Axess AG.
With a total investment value of 47 million euros, the new construction of the Jennerbahn is currently one of the most important cable car projects in Germany. With the reconstruction of the entire railway infrastructure, the Jenner is now a year-round adventure mountain for everyone. On the 5th of July, Schönau am Königssee was able to start full operation of the facilities in the presence of 300 guests of honor. The latest products from Axess RESORT SOLUTIONS have been installed for ticketing and access management. The technology company in neighboring Anif uses the AX500 Smart Gate NG entrances with the latest scanners and barrier-free entrances. Accessibility and easy-entry is what the Jennerbahn has set for the future. Thus, the 60 10-gondolas were implemented barrier-free. The solutions for Locker Management (closure boxes for sports equipment) and various types of the Axess Smart Cards are in use. Likewise, the WEBSHOP in conjunction with the Axess PICK UP BOX 600 offers an elegant solution for getting the ticket quickly and independently. Whether by voucher or QR code on the smartphone, the ticket is in the hands of the guest in 0.2 seconds. The start to the mountain experience on the Jenner is completed in no time. The hardware products are all produced at Axess' own production facility in Innsbruck. As well as the RFID tickets for season passes or day and week ski tickets, and barcode tickets for mountain / descent in summer. The software solutions are developed at the headquarters in Anif.
