After three dynamic and engaging days, Mountain Planet 2026 is officially over. From April 21 to 23, the international trade fair for mountain and resort innovation gathered industry professionals from around the globe to explore the latest technologies and trends shaping the future of mountain destinations.
Visitors experienced firsthand at our booth how fully integrated hardware and software solutions can significantly improve efficiency across all access and guest management processes in ski resorts, seamlessly connecting every touchpoint of the ski resort experience.

One of the solutions that immediately captured the interest of attendees was the Axess ALPHA GATE 700, the latest evolution in access control technology developed for high-frequency environments.
Visitors could see in action the advanced features of the Axess ALPHA GATE 700:

- Seamless integration into the snowy mountain thanks to elegant and welcoming design
- Smoother, faster access with reliable HF, UHF and BLE ticket reading
- Eye-catching, large display for ticket information, personalized messages or advertisements
- Different barrier types (turnstile, flap and its accessible ADA versions), and mounting types (e.g., floor-mounted, gantry-mounted, or mounted on an existing Axess pallet).

Axess MEMBERSHIPS: Membership contracts for seamless renewals and payment plans
Axess MEMBERSHIPS is a software module accessible via Axess WEBSTORE that enables guests to subscribe to resort services on a flexible, time-based manner (weekly, monthly, yearly, ...).
It offers both fixed-term and open-ended subscriptions, convenient payment plans, automatic renewal with optional opt-out, usage-based add-on billing (pay-per-use), automated lifecycle emails such as renewal reminders and expiration alerts, and much more!

Axess AI POS: Maximum flexibility for ticketing and service sales
We presented for the first time to the public the new Axess AI POS firsthand. As the successor to Axess SMART POS, it features a streamlined, user-friendly interface that runs on different devices, even on tablets! Say goodbye to complex or heavy systems.
Visitors experienced the flexibility of Axess AI POS firsthand, seamlessly switching between desktop and tablet environments. The live demonstration showed how the interface adapts effortlessly to different devices, maintaining the same intuitive functionality whether used at a fixed counter or on the move. This allowed them to see how staff can operate efficiently in any setting—serving guests at the desk or directly in the queue—delivering faster, more convenient service throughout the resort.
Another highlight at the fair was the Axess RESORT F&B SELF SERVICE KIOSK, presented with new features including an elegant, slimmer design and an optional accessible display for improved usability. The system also integrates Axess RESORT CHARGE, enabling guests to pay directly with their ski pass by loading it with credit. Payments are automatically deducted, with discounts applied where available, while recharging can be done online or at an Axess SMART POS using the ticket’s WTP number.
A variety of convenient options are available for obtaining ski passes, designed to suit every type of guest. At the fair, these solutions were presented live, allowing visitors to experience the full journey from online booking to on-site access:
From daily or seasonal tickets with optional parking, to equipment rental, lockers, and lessons, the Axess WEBSTORE offers guests a complete online solution to conveniently prebook their passes and additional services upon arrival, eliminating any need to queue at a POS.
On site, tickets previously purchased on Axess WEBSTORE can be quickly loaded and activated, or – if a new ticket is needed - a voucher with a QR code is printed at the Axess TICKET FRAME 600 and then scanned at the Axess PICK UP BOX 600 to conveniently collect their valid ticket. Moreover, tickets can be purchased quickly and conveniently at the multifunctional Axess TICKET KIOSK 600 or directly at the Axess SMART POS.
Visitors then placed the card in their pocket and walked through the gate to experience fast, contactless access, just like they would on the slopes. This integrated approach proves how guests can choose the method that best fits their needs, reducing waiting times and simplifying access to the slopes.
After a full first day of insightful discussions, technology showcases, and valuable connections at Mountain Planet, we turned our booth into an authentic après-ski experience.
Guests from around the globe joined us for an enjoyable evening with a live DJ, food & drinks, and a dance floor right at the booth. Attendees immersed themselves in the charm of a winter destination while networking, unwinding, and enjoying a truly memorable experience.
We were delighted to see our team, partners, customers, and visitors coming together in such a relaxed and vibrant setting.
