The Salzburg-based company Axess AG is headed for expansion in Northern Europe. The specialist from Anif for access systems is opening a subsidiary in Porvoo near Helsinki to further intensify its market presence in Scandinavia.

The Scandinavian market is very receptive to new technology and when it comes to innovation the northern countries of Europe are near the top of the ranking lists. As an innovation driver and technology leader in the areas of Ticketing and Access management, Axess therefore feels that it has had a strong connection with the Scandinavian region since it started. Just a year after the company was founded, almost 20 years ago, Axess managed to get its first customers in Scandinavia. Axess is opening its first location in Sweden to provide direct support for the Nordic area with the Team Axess Scandinavia. Finnish customers will now have direct support through the founding of Team Axess Finland OY and with managing director Ted Mellin

Expanding its presence in Finland

Since 2004 one of the biggest ski areas in Finland has been committed to Axess with Himos.
