Revelstoke Mountain Resort (CAN) opens with a rush of visitors and new Axess Smart Gates

More than 1,000 ski and snowboard fans could hardly wait to get on the slopes at the opening day on 1st Dember.

Revelstoke Mountain ski resort in British Columbia offers the best conditions for beginners and advanced skiers with its 40 runs and more than 1214 hectares of skiable area.

When the ski resort was opened at 8.30 a.m., a total of six AX500 Smart Gates with flap modules opened the way for the winter fans to the ski area. The scanning of barcode tickets will be completely replaced from this year's season on and replaced with RFID tickets that allow contactless reading and verification.
