To streamline the starting phase and prevent overcrowding, six AX500 SMART GATE NG Mobile WiFi Pallets will be installed at the starting area. These state-of-the-art access systems from Axess will allow a maximum of 400 runners to enter the starting zone at a time. Once the first group starts, the gates will automatically close to manage the flow and prevent congestion. As soon as the first group has cleared the start area, the gates will reopen for the next group.
Axess access systems have already been successfully used at major international events, including the recent European Football Championships 2024 (stadiums featuring Axess technology included Dortmund, Cologne & Leipzig). The deployment of Axess solutions at the Salzburg Business Run demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting local events with global expertise. With these new access solutions, participants can look forward to a safe and smooth event.
Beyond its technological contribution, Axess will also participate in the run, with many employees taking part in the 5.9 kilometer race to showcase the company´s team spirit.
