Axess AG, a Salzburg-based company, has won a major German marketing award. The award "Winner in Industry Excellence in Branding" more than validates the marketing strategy launched three years ago, developed together with the agency DBFS and its creative directors Reinhard Obinger and Peter Mitterhauser. The award is a mark of high distinction and recognition for the professional brand management of the Salzburg-based ticketing and access management specialists, which presents itself with a uniform CI and company branding that covers all products, marketing material, presentations, media as well as the architecture and interior design of its HQ in Salzburg. Since the company was founded, it has embraced a brand philosophy that covers criteria such as a high degree of innovation and growth as well as individuality and pronounced customer centricity.
The company was honored with the cross-sector "Digital Transformation of the Year" award for its smart interaction of hardware, software and services, such as the RESORT SOLUTIONS: The products of this series operate in a network to provide an integrated manageable system. Axess RESORT.RENTAL and Axess RESORT.LOCKER are ideal solutions for rental and depot. The Axess PICK UP BOX 600 is a ticket machine for self-collection – tickets purchased in the WEBSHOP or the Axess CONNECT.APP can be printed out on site within seconds. The AX500 SMART GATES allow controlled access with the SMART CARD. The Axess BI.DASHBOARD module offers real-time business intelligence and simulation and forecast models for ski resorts.

The German Brand Award is the second award this year for the successful company after the Salzburg Business Award WIKARUS.

The German Brand Award pays tribute to successful brand strategies. From a total of 1,200 entries, outstanding performance in brand management, corporate design and corporate branding is honored. With its criteria and competition classes, it takes into account the many facets of professional brand management: Awards are presented in the "Excellence in Branding", "Industry Excellence in Branding" and "Excellence in Brand Strategy, Management and Creation" categories. The "Brand Manager of the Year" is awarded annually by a jury composed of Saskia Diehl (GF GMK Markenberatung), Günter Möller (GF hm+p Hermann, Moeller + Partner), Stefan Raake (GF AMC Finanzmarkt GmbH), Simone Roth (Professorship for Strategy and Planning of Design Processes, Vice President Brand Academy), Christian Rummel (Deputy Global Head of Brand Communications & CSR Deutsche Bank AG) and other experts. The awards are presented annually.
